Favorite thing about PDSOP: If you are a pre-dental student or are still deciding whether dentistry is the career for you, this is the club for you! PDSOP offers plentiful resources and an array of opportunities to deepen your knowledge in every component of the dental application process, as well as the dental profession. In such a big campus as UCLA, it was difficult for me to find other students who were equally working towards the goal of pursuing a dental career. However, PDSOP quickly provided a place and space to build friendships and create a network with other pre-dents. Additionally, this program allowed me the opportunity to cultivate professional relationships with UCLA dental students at every stage in their dental school career. PDSOP has helped me become a competitive applicant for the journey ahead. Let us help you become a strong applicant as well.

Favorite thing about PDSOP: I love how PDSOP allows you to meet other motivated pre-dental students and offers various opportunities and tips for the application process to dental school. We have such a welcoming community that will help you become a stronger applicant to dental school and encourage you to push forward. My experience with PDSOP has been filled with much learning, growing, and advancing. Ultimately, PDSOP has uplifted my interest in dentistry and even helped me to build many valuable friendships!

Favorite thing about PDSOP: PDSOP has been my go-to club for the past years because of such a dedicated community full of pre-dental and dental students. PDSOP has provided endless resources for both students who are certain that dentistry is the career for them, and to those who are still questioning if it's right career for them. From there, you can meet people with similar passions and interests, attend service events to better the community together, study together in similar classes, and even just to have a lifelong friend with you along the college journey. From here, I've learned so much about studying for the DAT and the dental application process.

Favorite thing about PDSOP: PDSOP has provided me with a strong foundation as a pre-dental student. I've gotten a glimpse into all aspects of the dental profession including the application process for dental school, the life of a dental student and what it's like to be a dentist. Furthermore, I've made lifelong pre-dental friends and been exposed to countless opportunities which have allowed me to dive right into the dental community as an undergrad.

Favorite thing about PDSOP: My favorite thing about PDSOP is that it provides a welcoming and motivating environment for students during their pre-dental journey through its many presentations, community service events, and socials. This organization fully immerses you into a pre-dental community alongside like-minded individuals, where you never truly feel alone in your pre-dental journey. I’ve strengthened my understanding of the profession, learned tips for the application, and made friendships along the way, loving my time in the club thus far in PDSOP.

Favorite thing about PDSOP: My favorite thing about PDSOP is the teamwork this community encourages. Being a first-generation student, my parents have no idea about the trials and tribulations I encounter through my dental journey. Rather than finding myself in a community where I had to compete, I found myself in a community that considered applying to dental school a combined effort. From the club advisor to board to peers, resources were shared constantly. Students commiserated together about exams, taking the DAT, and more. I didn’t feel ashamed about being “behind” in the process but I instead felt uplifted!

Favorite thing about PDSOP: Before PDSOP I didn't know anyone else who was also pursuing dentistry and I felt like I was navigating it alone. PDSOP has helped change that by introducing me to other pre-dentals and has resulted in a valuable support system. I've learned so much about applying to dental school and if I ever have a question, the club's resources can help me figure it out. I've also been exposed to several dental and community service opportunities through PDSOP which has helped me become a more well-rounded person. It's the perfect community for pre-dentals!

Favorite thing about PDSOP: My favorite thing about PDSOP is that it is a great one-stop shop for all dental-related stuff. PDSOP provides not only tons of helpful information and tips regarding the entire dental application process but also lots of volunteering/shadowing opportunities for us members! It is also such a great platform to meet other pre-dents with similar aspirations and build long-lasting friendships!
